Nadia and Carol
Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born 12 November 1961, in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now OnestiGheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now Onesti] Romania). She was first to achieve a perfect 10 in an Olympic celebration. Bela Karalyi was introduced to Comaneci when she was six. Later, she would become Romania's gymnastics coach. The first time she competed at the national junior championships in 1969, finishing 13th. She won the competition in the year 1970. Three gold medals were awarded in her very first contest in a junior pre-Olympic meeting in 1972 that was held by communist bloc countries. Between 1973 and 1974, she was the junior all-round champion. She took home four gold medals and one silver in her senior debut international competition, held in 1975. This was her first time she participated as an older senior. She took home the American Cup in New York City in 1976 and became the first woman in history to complete the backward double salto in an unmounting from uneven bars that are parallel. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. The story of Carol Wayne into the realm of entertainment began as a teenager. Together with her twin sister Nina Wayne, she joined the traveling entertainment show called Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne, born in Chicago Illinois US on 6 September 1942. Carol started her entertainment career in her teens. The path she took to success began with her joining Nina Wayne to perform in Ice Capades, a traveling performance. Ice Capades featured performances of skaters ice skating with actors.
